The Role:

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics teacher to join a collaborative department. This role is a mix of junior and senior classes, specifically focused on delivering high-quality instruction to:

• Year 7 Mathematics: Building foundational numeracy skills and engagement.

• Year 10 Mathematics: Preparing students for senior pathways.

• Year 11 General Mathematics: Delivering the VCE General Maths curriculum with a focus on practical application and exam preparation.

You will be joining a supportive faculty that values resource sharing and professional growth. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who enjoys teaching across different age groups and ability levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated Mathematics lessons for Years 7, 10, and 11 General.

• Develop and implement curriculum plans in line with Victorian Curriculum and VCE study designs.

• Utilize data to monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.

• Create a positive and safe classroom environment that promotes student wellbeing.

• Participate in departmental meetings, co-curricular activities, and the broader life of the college.

The Successful Candidate:

• Qualified Secondary Teacher with a specialisation in Mathematics.

• Current VIT Registration.

• Demonstrated experience or ability to teach VCE General Mathematics (Year 11).

• Strong classroom management skills and a relationship-based approach to teaching.

• Full Australian working rights.
